  • What is a telehealth consultation, and how does it work?

    A telehealth consultation is simply a doctor's appointment that happens online, usually through a secure video call on your computer, tablet, or phone. It's super convenient because you can chat with your doctor from the comfort of your own home! We'll send you a secure link before your appointment, and you just click it to join. Easy peasy!

  • What do I need for my online appointment?

    You'll need a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone (like a smartphone, tablet, or computer), and a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable talking openly. It's also a good idea to have any relevant medical records or a list of your current medications handy.

  • What kind of health conditions do you help with?

    Our doctors focus no a range of conditions where a personalised approach to care can make a real difference. This often includes things like chronic pain, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and other ongoing health concerns. Your doctor will assess your unique situation to see how we can best support you.

  • Will I definitely get a prescription during my first consultation?

    Your first consultation is all about understanding your unique health needs and goals. Our doctors will do a thorough assessment to determine the most suitable treatment plan for you. While many patients do receive prescriptions, the doctor's priority is always your health and safety, so sometimes they might recommend other steps first, or determine that instead of a specific medication, you may benefit from a health plan, depending on your specific circumstances.

  • Can a minor (under 18 years old) attend a consultation?

    Yes, minors can have consultations with our doctors. However, for all appointments involving a patient under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the entire consultation. The parent/guardian will also need to register the minor's profile and provide consent for their care. This ensures we meet all legal and safety requirements for our younger patients.

  • How do I get my medication after my consultation?

    If your doctor prescribes medication, they'll issue an electronic script (eScript). You'll typically receive a token via Azure Health application, or can request for it to be sent to you via SMS or email. You can then use this token to have your prescription dispensed at a pharmacy. Our team will guide you through this simple process!

  • How much does a consultation cost?

    Our consultation fees vary depending on the type and length of the appointment. We'll provide clear pricing information upfront on our website. Please note that Medicare rebates may be available for some consultations, depending on your eligibility and the type of practitioner you see. Reach out to us, so that we can help you understand your options.

  • How do I order my medication refills?

    Once you're an Azure Health patient, you'll have access to our patient portal where you can easily view your active scripts and manage your orders. You'll see how many repeats you have left and when your next script is available to order.

  • How do you protect my personal and health information?

    Your privacy is our top priority! We use secure, encrypted telehealth platform and follow strict Australian privacy laws (like the Privacy Act and Health Records Act) to protect all your personal and health information. We only share your data with your consent or when legally required.
